Whole lingonberries in juice from Erken & Steen 1900: fine whole berries are placed in a jar and covered with cold juice pressed from the smallest berries and boiled with 250 g sugar per liter of berries.

Boil juice from the smallest berries
Press juice from the less attractive berries. Boil the juice with ¼ kg (250 g) sugar per liter of berries, and let it become cold.
Put the whole berries in a jar
Place the choice, whole, cleaned berries in a clean jar.
Pour over the cold juice
Pour the cold juice over so that the berries are well covered. Cover.
