Mix the different kinds of flour; if you do not have wholemeal wheat, distribute this evenly between the 2 other kinds of flour, add salt.
Now add the milk, and the yeast which has been stirred out with a little of the milk. Let this stand in a warm place for about 3 hours.
Knead it up, place in 3 greased tins, let it rise again for about ½ hour or until the tins are full.
Put in a hot oven and bake for ¾ to 1 hour. While the loaves are rising, they can occasionally be brushed with a little cold water.
As a rule the loaves should be turned out of the tins when they have been in the oven for about ½ hour, put back in and bake for the last quarter or half hour, all depending on the oven.
