Wash and clean the potatoes and roots and cut them into slices; chop the onion.
Put everything into boiling water. Cook until the roots are cooked and the potatoes thicken the soup.
Add the milk and let the soup come to a boil. Add butter and chopped parsley, and just as the soup is to be served, grate the raw yellow and white roots directly into the soup, and preferably a little finely cut spinach.
Dandelion leaves or sorrel too. Season to taste.
