Original 1943 recipe

The same recipe as Potatoes with Fish, except that instead of 2 dl fish you take 2 dl grated white bread and two fairly large tomatoes, which are peeled and cut up into small pieces.
This dough is shaped into small round cakes, which are turned in egg or salted milk and rusk crumbs, and fried a nice light golden brown in butter or fat.
Tomato sauce and creamed peas may be served with it.
