The milk must be warmed to lukewarm and the eggs beaten with the sugar; otherwise the batter is made in the usual way.
The fresh yeast is stirred out with flour and a little milk and set in a warm place.
When it has risen, add it to the batter, which is covered and set in a warm place until it has risen.
When frying the æbleskiver, you can fill each hollow of the pan halfway with batter, then add 1 teaspoon raspberry jam, then top with a little more batter and turn them carefully with a fork or a small spatula.
Jam is not necessary, and the æbleskiver are easier to fry without it.
