The liver, approx. 1 kg, is placed for a couple of hours in vinegar water, 0.5 dl vinegar to 1 l water.
Rinse the liver, skin it; remove the bile ducts and veins.
Cut the liver into slices, which are turned in the mixed flour, pepper and salt; fry in butter.
Everything is gradually transferred to a pot, boiling water is poured over — 1 dl cream if desired — and it simmers gently under a lid for 0.5 hour.
Chop onion, lightly brown it and boil with the liver for the last 5 minutes.
The liver is also larded with strips of pork and prepared exactly like braised beef.
