Cut the meat from the bones, cut it small, and chop it well with the suet, the potato starch and the spices, or grind it together with these 3 times; the boiled, cold milk is poured in little by little; stir the batter until it is stiff and cohesive.
From this, shape 8 round cakes on a floured board. Dredge the cakes with flour and brown them in a pan in the browned margarine; when they are browned on both sides, pour on ½ l of boiling water together with the finely cut onion; simmer gently under a lid for ¼ hour.
Thicken the sauce with 1 teaspoon of wheat flour stirred into cold water if it is too thin. Once thickening has been added, the sauce must boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
