Stir the batter
Thin the flour little by little with the cold water and beer. Add the melted butter and the eggs, and stir into a smooth batter.
Fry the cases
Heat the rosette iron in boiling lard. Dip the hot iron into the batter, but not so that the batter runs over the edge of the iron. Hold the iron in the lard until the cases are light brown.
Fill
Fill the crisp cases with fish, meat or vegetable ragout.
«2 » øl» viderefører desiliter-enheten fra linjen over, altså 2 dl øl. «Smult» tilsvarer moderne frityrfett.
