Sprinkle cress seeds on a plate covered with double-layered blotting paper thoroughly moistened with water.
After a couple of days the cress sprouts, and after about a week it is ready to use. As long as you always keep it moist, it manages the rest by itself.
Instead of blotting paper, you can place a thoroughly moistened piece of flannel on the plate, which is likewise kept constantly moist.
