Mix into a smooth dough, put in a greased, crumbed pan, which should only be half full.
Let rise for half an hour. Bake in a not too hot oven for 1 hour. Turn out.
When the bread is cold, cut it into slices, which are dried at low heat until completely crisp.
Used for pancakes, dumplings, pudding, and small cakes. The bread is then ground and soaked in 3/4 liter of milk per 1 liter of bread.
The bread is an excellent food reserve and a completely safe way to preserve blood, as long as the slices are bone-dry and of course not burnt. Keep it in a tin box.
