How to make it

  1. 1

    Rhubarb

Wash and trim the rhubarb and cut it into small pieces, or put it once through a meat grinder. Put it in clean, dry, cold bottles and pour over boiled, cold water.

  2. 2

    Blackcurrants

Put ripe, whole, clean blackcurrants in preserving jars or bottles and pour over boiled, cold water.

  3. 3

    Seal

Screw the lids on the jars or cork the bottles. Gooseberries and lingonberries can be stored in the same way.

  4. 4

    Note

Note: Storing in water without heat treatment gives a short shelf life. Keep cold and use quickly.
