Unsweetened lingonberry cordial: 2 l berries well cooked out with 2 l water, strained and bottled hot in bottles that are corked and sealed with wax.

Unsweetened ("tart") lingonberry cordial for use in sauces, soups and as a drink with sugar added to taste. The lingonberry's own acidity acts as a preservative.
Cook the berries
Cook the cleaned, washed berries with the water until they are well cooked out.
Strain
Strain the juice through a straining cloth.
Bottle
Fill the juice hot into dry, warm bottles, cork and seal with wax.
Only units modernized; no sugar in the original.
