Revised 1949 recipe
From the revised edition of the Big Cookbook.

Raw strawberries are put in jars with a little sugar (about 50 g per ½ litre), warmed to 65 °C for 5 minutes, left until next day, moved to smaller jars with strained juice and sterilised for 15 minutes at 70 °C. From Erken's Stor kokebok (1949), p. 712.

The second of two methods for bottled strawberries in the book, using less sugar than the first.
Fill the jars
Put the raw berries in the jars. Sprinkle a little fine sifted sugar at the bottom and top, about 50 g per ½ litre jar.
Warm
Warm the jars to 65 °C (150 °F) for 5 minutes. Take them out and leave them cold until the next day.
Change jars
Move the berries to smaller jars. Strain the juice and pour it over.
Sterilise
Sterilise for 15 minutes at 70 °C (160 °F). Note: Use clean jars and store cool. Opened jars should be kept in the refrigerator.
Measures are converted to modern units. The last step adds storage advice.
